Head Varsity Coach: Bob Dean Bob Dean is starting his 12th year as head softball coach at Evergreen High School. He has posted winning seasons in all but his 2nd year at EHS when the team went 9-11 and lost 7 games by a score of 1-0. Dean has guided the Lady Plainsmen to state in two of the last 4 years. After coaching baseball for several years, Dean started coaching his daughter in softball in 1988 and was quickly hooked into the fastpitch game. He coached ASA summer teams for 5 years prior to starting at EHS and has given pitching clinics for young girls 7-12 yrs for 12 years. Assistant Varsity Coach: Sam Autry has extensive experience as a hitting coach, pitching coach and an ASA coach. He had offered private lessons in both hitting and pitching for many years. Sam has joined the coaching staff at Evergreen this year and is eager to strengthen the program. Sam adds experience that can only make the Plainsman program even stronger in the years ahead.
